This song was written inspired by my first lesbian friend who came out to me. That moment is one I will always remember. It really iimpacted me how much courage that took for her. For me, she was my dear friend Amy before she came out to me and was my dear friend Amy after she came out to me. Actually, she became even more dear that she trusted our friendship enough to allow herself to be that vulnerable with me by sharing that part of who she was and allowing herself to be seen. This song is about being seen and valued and loved for who we really are. And the power of being truly seen. And honouring and celebrating that. It's being released for Pride month in that spirit.
Creating this song has been a beautiful experience in so many ways namely in the music making and in connecting with my friend Amy and sharing it with her in gratitude of our connection and her sharing her story.

Yes, creeating this song got my heart singing and put a smile in my heart. I sure hope while listening to it it puts a smile in your heart and that you'll sing along too.

This song is for all of us and dedicated to Pride month.
