Producer Johnny Sangster and guitarist Jeff Fielder and I met before the recording session for preproduction to flesh out the song instrumentation and arrangement which resulted in the concept of the song fading in like someone is walking into a party and also a dreamy bridge section. During recording Johnny suggested I explore vocally improvising over the bridge section, which was a first for me. That collaboration was a fun reminder to follow where the music takes you.
